Kristina Butler
Founder
Kristina Butler is a seasoned professional with over 26 years’ experience in the healthcare industry. As President of the Kristina Butler Foundation, she continues to make a significant impact on the lives of others, particularly in the realm of senior care.
Kristina’s journey began with the founding of Comfort Keepers, an in-home care company that has revolutionized the way seniors receive support and assistance. Comfort Keepers has received numerous accolades, including being ranked as the #1 senior care company in Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500 list. In addition, in recognition of her entrepreneurial spirit and remarkable achievements, Kristina was honored with Wittenberg University’s Entrepreneurial Business Award. These recognitions speak volumes about Kristina’s unwavering dedication to making a positive difference.
Driven by her passion for helping others, Kristina has dedicated her career to improving the lives of seniors and their families. Her visionary leadership, combined with a compassionate approach, has transformed the landscape of senior care. As President of the Kristina Butler Foundation, Kristina continues to advocate for the elderly and their caregivers and create opportunities for those in need.

Sheri Harvey
Secretary
Sheri Harvey is a seasoned and compassionate leader with a wealth of experience in the senior care industry. With an unshakable commitment to enhancing the lives of older adults, Sheri has dedicated her career to providing exceptional care and innovative solutions to meet the unique needs of seniors. As the Chief Executive Officer of the San Diego Comfort Keepers, she is at the forefront of a mission-driven organization that is setting new standards in senior care and quality of life.
Sheri has over 20 years of experience as a business entrepreneur and senior business leader, including direct sales, marketing, systems development, project management and organizational change and design. She is a driven, results-oriented professional with an executive background in both growth-oriented and established businesses.
Sheri has extensive experience with designing internal control processes, metrics and information systems, budgeting, deal valuation, contract negotiation, and business plan development.
As Owner of Comfort Keepers in San Diego, and through her dedication to customer service excellence and her focus on day-to-day operations, she caused the business to continually grow while providing the best possible care for San Diego seniors and their families.
Heather Dill
Director of Operations
Heather Dill, Director of Operations at The Kristina Butler Foundation, has over ten years of experience in the senior care field.
Heather is dedicated to giving back to the community, and strives to make an impact on
the lives of seniors and their caregivers.
Heather holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management from Case Western Reserve University, where she gained a solid foundation in entrepreneurship, philanthropy and marketing.
Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. She is a firm believer in maintaining a healthy work-life balance and finding inspiration from various sources.
Dr. Maria Harsanyi
Treasurer/CFO
Dr. Maria Harsanyi is an adjunct professor in the graduate marketing program at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC), teaching brand management. She is also the faculty advisor for the American Marketing Association Chapter at UMGC and a subject matter expert (SME) for course development in International Marketing. Maria holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Management from Troy State University, a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from UMGC, and a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from UMGC.
In addition to having over 30+ years of experience in accounting and cost analysis, Maria has firsthand experience in creating a successful company from the ground up, marketing, operations management, R&D, recruiting and retaining talented individuals, leading a staff, and working effectively in teams.
The experience of being a part of a business from the beginning has given Maria the knowledge of what it takes to be successful, the humility to feel blessed, and the ability to choose how to spend her time. Maria’s passions rest in being a lifetime learner and paying it forward.
